Grub Tool Handle: Product Design and Branding

The Tool Handle
I designed every part of Grub: the logo and the product itself. It's a student project for which my main goal was to combine high aesthetics with high functionality.
The tool itself is resin cast. I started by crafting the handle using wood. Then, I made a cast using plaster. Finally, I poured resin into the cavity within the cast, let it harden, and sanded, polished, and painted the finished product.
The Logo
The trowel handle itself looks very organic. To mimic that quality, I set the logo in grungy type and used the same color used in the handle itself.
